India Hicks, An Entertaining Story

India Hicks is a world-renowned designer, author, mother of five, and goddaughter to King Charles III. India was born in London, England. Her father was the famed interior decorator David Hicks, and her mother is Lady Pamela Hicks, whose father was the last Viceroy of India.

She has authored four design books, modelled for Ralph Lauren, among others and has been involved in the design world for more than two decades – from hotels to home collections. India is also a patron of The Prince’s Trust, working to raise awareness and funding to help young women who face disadvantage and adversity transform their lives.

The weekend of ‘In Conversations’ provides a rare opportunity to meet India during her brief Australian visit this December and hear about her own, unique take on styling and entertaining.

During this intimate event, you’ll hear India’s irreverent viewpoint on all things from whimsical table-tops to menus, and tips and tricks on how to host a truly memorable occasion, including an unforgettable Christmas soirée. India will also share stories from her life as a model, mother, and businesswoman including amusing family anecdotes.

India’s presentation will be followed by a three-course lunch menu designed by the executive chef at Halcyon House, Jason Barratt, in collaboration with India.

Tickets cost $750 per person and include champagne on arrival, a signed copy of India’s book, An Entertaining Story and a three-course lunch with matching wines. The session runs from 10:00am – 2:30pm. Tickets are limited.
